Contest Closed: Judging to commence shortly.
Sixteen years ago the first episode of the Ruby-Spears Mega Man animated series premiered, making it the first Saturday morning cartoon to star the blue bomber in his own series (for better of for worse). As fans know, the cartoon only lasted two seasons. Your challenge: Create a premise for an ‘unaired episode’ of Ruby-Spears Mega Man, season 3.
Your entry should include:
Title of episode
Description of episode
A drawing, comic, or prose piece showing a scene from your episode. This should include at least one character from the Ruby-Spears cartoon.
Since this episode will not appear on syndicated TV, feel free to go nuts with plot. It could be a cross-over with another series (Mega Man or not), it could be the series finale, it can have new characters, or if you hate Ruby-Spears Mega Man another Mega Man series could be destroying them—it's up to you. Your episode can be serious, it can be humorous, it can be bizarre…as some of the existing episodes are very bizarre…
Prizes
Two entrants will be selected to receive a one month DA subscription (or the equivalent in points) as donated by me. I am not judging solely on artistic skill. Winners will be determined by whoever submits the most creative episodes. Everyone has a shot at winning.
Official Rules
Deadline is October 11th, 2011 at Midnight, EST. Submit entries to Contest Entries folder.
Any art style is welcome. Written deviations are also accepted.
No joint entries.
Keep the episode PG-13. Use of copyrighted material such as screen caps or official art is prohibited.
So spread the word! Or, if you're planning on entering yourself, tell no one and increase your chances.

We had two excellent entries:
Mount Awesome by Gingler (https://www.deviantart.com/gingler)
BATTERY GRAVE by InnoTenshi (https://www.deviantart.com/innotenshi)
Since there were only two entries, and they were both beyond what I expected, both shall receive a prize (1 month DA subscription). Thanks again for entering you two!
For a group of 60, I consider this a pretty successful contest, and will definitely considering holding more (with broader, less research-intensive themes). Suggestions are welcome!
Edit: Just for clarification, Attack of the Lincoln Memorial was drawn by me as a promotional piece, not as a real entry for the contes
